While watching TV shows, the TV enters the MENU mode on its own. I can exit Menu mode by pressing the menu key. I've tried removing the batteries from all remotes - and vacuuming the TV. Also, in the middle of the night, the TV turns itself on sometimes. We think the house is haunted, are are hoping for a simpler explanation. The TV is a Magnavox 37MF231D/37 Thanks /Stu
I have a Toshiba that if the house power goes off/on, the audio is gone when the set is turned back on. The cure is to unplug from the wall, wait thirty seconds and plug in.
attar, Thank you for the idea - we tried it and it worked for a while then came back. Tried again, and burned incense this time - still working after 24 hours. I think the daemon may have left. /Stu
