make exact cd copy using only one cd drive

    I have got only cd writer and no cd r drive. can any one suggest me a program to make an exact copy of existing cd using just one drive!!!

    All programs I know are capable to do copies with just one drive. You just have to do the job in two steps:

    1) Create an image on the HD (it will be an .ISO, .CUE/.BIN, .CCD/.SUB/.IMG, .NRG etc, depending upon the program you use)

    2) Burn the image on a CD.

    This way is also much safer than using simultaneously the two CD units (job also known as 'on the fly' recording) because this can cause synch problems between the two CDs and the HD.

    You can easily find on the net the way to do that step-by-step. For instance, search "Nero CD Backup" or "CloneCD CD Backup" and you'll find the hints you need.
