    Hi

    Im trying to create a DVD with subtitles.

    I have Nero Vision but have been told it doesn't handle subtitles. And I tried FAVC, but it didn't make one of the back up files for the movie I was trying to burn. (Video_ts.bup)

    So I was wondering what program can I use to make a movie with subtitles?

    whoa dude, favc and avi2dvd are gruelling slow. The best one clicker is ConvertXtoDVD, I know, a stupid name but there you go.
    It takes like 1h45m to make a 3 hour DVD. FAVC took 12 hours, and AVI2DVD like 5 hours. Whatever machine you have, or what ever configuration, I'm guessing that the rations will be the same, so if
    ConvertXtoDVD = 1
    AVI2DVD = 2.8 times slower
    FAVC = 6.3 times slower
    DVDAuthorGui might do it too, but you have to convert the avi's with some tool to Mpeg2 first, so...

    Tell me if you have problems finding ConvertXtoDVD or using it.

    If you are trying to put your own subititles on a dvd, I just used substation alpha and virtual dub. worked fine
