making ipod into Hard drive

    i am wondering if i can turn the my ipod into a HD to back up big files since it wont let me go over 1 gig

    yep, just slip it into disk mode..

    press & hold the 'menu' and 'select' buttons for 6 seconds until the apple logo appears. Then, while tha apple logo is up, press & hold 'fast-forward' & 'rewind' to put it into disk mode :)

    how would i put it back into the the normal ipod mode with music and video?
