Hey i was just wondering if anyone who received one of the Matrix chips with bad LEDs has been successful installing it? If so what helped you, any tricks or special methods? Thanks in advance.
my very first mod was like that..it took forever.. but now ican do them all day with or without LED's.. just put hte chip in mode 2.. be careful tho its a lil dodgy this way.. good way to burn something up... flash the chip with a colored bios... i use the D.6 Blue eject fix.. unplug the HD and the DVD and remove it.. get the chip close to what u think is right and while holding down on the chip since it is still not tightened all the way down so u can move it, turn on the machine and see if the X is the color of the bios u chose.. if not move it a bit and turn the machine back on.. its the only way to do it bro.. its a pain in the ass tho
