Is there anything better than WinAVI to convert AVI files to .VOB or . IFO? I tried WinAVI version 5.6 to convert and burn an AVI, and when i played it back on my player, it was pretty bad quality. Should I just try burning the file with something else and burn it using another program?
You can use DivxToDvd, Nero Vision Express, DvdSanta. I like DivxToDvd myself. Seems to be a little faster, haven't actually timed it though. Quality looks pretty close to original on my comp/tv.
I use DivxToDvd (free) to convert the disc, to file. After that DVDshink,(also free) usually in 'No Compression mode to burn the file to DVD. happy buring gringle.
