First of all, never mention what you've downloaded. Just say I downloaded a movie! That would be thought of as piracy and you dont want to be barred do you?? Anyway, what are you trying to play the divx with and could you tell me what codecs you have installed?
Right well that sounds ok. Try playing it in WinDVD and see if the sound stays in sync. I don't like Divx 2.0 Alpha at all really!. Also get this codec... http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/divx_3_codec.cfm
I dont understand what you mean. Do you mean you can't find the movie?? make sure it has a .avi extension!
the type shouldnt matter, with the proper codec WinDVD should play it just make sure that you change the extension to .avi then tey to play it!
