I'm trying to install Windows Media Player 11, but I can't because I have a pirated version of XP. I heard about people getting around the Genuine Advantage and installing programs that require it. How can I do that?

You could try asking on a forum which supports piracy, unlike this one.

It allows a download, but after being downloaded, WMP 11 will not install on a pirate Windows XP installation.

you can download wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe but when you run it, it phones home.

Many patched installers that are around contain trojan droppers and other malware. I personally use VLC Media Player and Mplayer and I can watch anything I want to.
