I've made a slide show of Jpegs and backup music using Microsoft Movie Maker but can't get it to save to DVD. Also, maybe since the slide show is 1:15 long, the MMM program runs painfully slow. Any advice?

You need to convert the Movie Maker file(s) into DVD format. Try WinAVI or do a google for a converter.
