for win 7 there is an app called simply screenrecorder or spotlight utility screen recorder. the only link I can find is technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2009.03.utilityspotlight2.aspx. I ran this and as a zip file it is listed in windows explorer as an application. after opening and running it, the usual dialog boxes appear but leaves nothing on the desktop as in an icon, despite checking a box for it to be left behind. the app is NOT listed in all programs in the start menu. I do NOT see the usual .exe file either. Is this a REAL app similar to APOWERSOFT recorder, OCAM, SNAGIT, or others or is this app not findable because it does not actually exist as an app?
