miniDV players (if camcorder broken)

    I have a sony dcr-pc100 that won't play back anymore. It isn't worth fixing, but I don't have a way to play back the minidvs if I don't fix it. Are there standalone players someone could recommend to playback these tapes (either into a tv or my PC). Thanks in advance. Jim

    There are players, but they are more expensive than cameras. You'd probably be best to buy a used cam off ebay or the cheapest one you can find if you will be using for nothing more than playback.
