Have installed mint 13 cinammon on Dell vostro 1510 laptop. It looks beautiful, but cannot access updates, firefox browser, etc. because I cannot get an internet connection. There must be something simple that I should be doing, but what? This is beyond me. June
wonder if it is loading the network hardware drivers.. debian is usually good at this, but not always Try these.. wired.. ifconfig wireless .. iwconfig these should list available hardware.. if not then .. lspci -v google up the network hardware result and see if others have had similar problems.
