ok every time I go to an irc room ppl keep telling Me about this thing ......others tell Me I dont have it some say I do ........is there a way to tell if I have it or not and if so what is it?? as even Mr.GooglE aint heard of it cheers n many thanxs DaOsT
GET RID!!!! Its a virus, its a trojan... i was downloading off mirc a week ago.. ive only just got my pc online! I had 58 virus on my pc... it unleashes hell on your system! If you dont reply to this thread i can only assume you have been hit by it! go to Trend Micro for a free onlin virus scan... it got rid of mine!
pinkerton thanxs alot it took quite a while to scan but it found 1 worm thank god I didnt have that mircspeedup thing heard very bad things about that

i dont even remember clicking on the virus! but i had to format my pc and start afresh... stayin well clear of mirc...
yeah I thought they got Me but I checked with 2 different virus protectors n am safe hopefully yeah darthnip on some chatrooms I was getting 3 or 4 of the messages about that yet most I was fine but I will stick at irc the benefits are great
Yeah, mate, the benefits ARE great. I've had files sent to me automatically on occasion. Just open up yer IRC folder, find what's been sent (unrequested) and delete the bugger. Dene
