Missing Channels 06/09/07 Solution.

Scouser, just out of curiosity what is a transponder ? I see you mentioning it quite alot and also headends what are they ?

 

There are a number of different meanings for a transponder but basically a transponder in TV terms is a frequency that carries a number of channel on it. Headends are where the CC house their equipment. Boards.ie should have told you that

Sorry if I might be going off the topic here, but can you please tell me why I cannot pickup UTV on my Euro Vox 2008 I am in Cork City so its Choxxs provider.Thanks in advance.

 

Try 410.000 if you have troulbe with it step it up to 411.000.

Tried a full scan to 411.00 but it stops at 394.00.Is it possible to enter these Freq manually. Thanks again for all your time and help, you must have he patience of a Lion.

To add these go to menu,installation,user installation and use the on button guide to add frequencies.

For any frequency that you want to manually scan you select it in your list first by pressing OK when it is highlighted, ( a tick will appear beside the one you select), then you press the blue button to manually scan that frequency.
