Oh you are a sad case sorry to disappoint you you might have a dbox but it aint working mate that's for sure

as for the cable company updating their encryption well that is their own decision they have to move with the times like all company's do

and if and i say if they do go N3 just remember your box will be still gone unless there is a fix done and about sub i have a sub myself actually to sky so nothing lost also and just because i am on here a lot of the time does not mean i do not watch tv

 

Hey lads...any word on these Kryptview boxes they worth gettin!? i've finally given into excepting that there's not going to be a fix for the good old eurvox.... its bbq weather again

 

do you see anyone complaining abut their purchases they will be back in stock within the next few weeks and from what i have seen on here they wont be long there before they will be sold out again

 

ciskz and Crytpohx, This is Ireland over here you see, Boxes don't work which is why the kryptview is recommended, Yes the Itgate works but it took 9 weeks longer which tells everyone when they go again thats another extra 9 weeks of black tv screens. Stop being jealous linux owners because people like other boxes, you may think all fergus talks about is kryptview but all you talk about is linux boxes so that's it fair now stop moaning.

Stop referring to Irish as Tools aswell.

ah its great craic noely poor fergus is getting the brunt of it all

 

lads can someone please help me again. im in dublin with sv3. i tried to do an automatic scan to try get some music channels back but now everyting is gone. on every channel it says " data is been updated o% " its not budging. please help b4 the missus gets home or there will be blood on the dancefloor

 

try sly 2, if that dosn't work you'll have to go through the channels till the % moves for you,may take a while.

 

also try pressing 'ok' on 'set default key'
and powering off and back on if the above doesnt work

 

on sly2 it moved up to 80 and then went back to 0. ill try the other way now

 

It sometimes will do that 2 or 3 times.
go in and press ok on set default key and try it again, if not power cycle it

I take it you are on the latest AU firmware?

 

didnt work either. lol ill try go through every channel and see if any movement

 

It will move on the channel with the best signal,patience is required lol

 

i dont know anything about power cycle or what firmware mate sorry

 

Power cycle(flick power off and back on at back or plug out/back in)
Press menu, goto system information and tell us what firmware your on, your probably on an old firmware, did you ever have to manually enter keys before?

 

was it updated in december when the boxes went last?

 

i really am an idiot when it comes to this stuff. im on GOLD and its gone over 200% twice and back to 0. will i leave it to tick away?
