can anybody tell me the best ripper and encoder to rip mixed cd's without a blank between the tracks..

is there a chance to be Nero's fault...whenever i burn mixed cd's i ripped with EAC and lame encoder i get a slight (0,1 sec) blank between the tracks...

    any ideas??

When copying discs do not rip them track by track. Read the whole disc to one image file and .cue file and burn that. EAC can also burn on many CD-R drives.

When burning from MP3s I think there will always be a very slight glitch in between tracks.

Upgrade to the latest Nero. Version 5.0.0.0 to 5.5.7.7 all have a bug that removes the last sector (0.013 s) of each track, producing a glitch.
