   can i use my 512mb DDR 400 stick with a 256mb DDR 333 stick? will it work? will it be buggy? or will it work just like normal?

   You can use them together but they will both run at the speed of the slower memory.

   depends on your motherboard, if has 333 not 400 fsb than the 400 will only run as 333
