Well I had a specific file that I haven't been able to get in any other format, unfortunately it appears that MKV has a problem as nothing will convert it. Everything gets an error message. I'm still playing around with Ripbot. I didn't time it the first time but its pretty quick compared to Super.
DVD Fick will convert an MKV to DVD. I've only done AVIs and WMV to DVD with Flick, but it support MKV also. The result with the avis and WMV are very good.
@ Mik3h It is possible to demux the video-audio and subs from the MKV container, and put them back into an avi/mp4 container without need fot conversion-quality loss. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/560356
