MMDS Set-up Complete Beginner

hey yamm where are you im in wexford and my system gone down and so is a friend of mine in wexford , didnt think nag3 would be in that quick down this part. my friends sis has a sub. with ch....s and she has had no new box or card or anything just wondering is it just the sysmtem down as it is happened before any taughts

 

any boxes down were not fixed with the last fix that came out either download the latest software and flash or change keys manualy......

MMDS Digivox gone down this evening - are any new codes available or are we doomed??

 

if your box had the latest software it would still b working.......

one of mine dyed just just copied the keys from the other 1 that was still working..... oxo
either find a box thats still working nd copy the keys or install the latest software or wait form them to come on line..

no need to be panicing.....

 

alot of the good channels are gone to nagra 3 now :-( all the s*y sports/movies, and all but se*an*a ireland are gone for me. no fix coming by the looks of it. ah well...was good while it lasted.

 

I presume ur on cable spongerob, cos mmds workin fine here in limerick clare area.

 

no i'm on mmds. In the dublin area though which is where most of the changes seem to have started. Essentially what is still available is the most basic package. No sports, movies ,etc.

 

bummer that doesn't sound too good. its only a matter of time so.

 

wondering if anyone can help. living in the south tipperary area near cahir.i recently bought the eurovox package complete with aerial setup and was wondering does anyone known roughly what direction to point the aerial

Don't know I'm afraid. Best thing to do is scout around the neighbourhood, see which way other peoples aerials are pointing.

 

Hey guys...
Just wondering if i can use the same image on a dm500c as on a dm500t?
Ive moved house recently and we now have cable instead of the mmds aerial...
It'd be great if i can just flash the new box with the already working image.

It'd be even better if i can just plug the old dm500t into the cable feed and work away, but from my limited knowledge they're not the same...

Any idea if the same image will work on both boxes?
Wont the tuner present the same info to the processor in either box.
The tuners obviously are different, different frequencies etc...

Im sorry to be asking this again...

Can i use the same image on a dm500c as on a dm500t?
Im trying it now, so fingers crossed...
If it doesnt work, then what do i need to change?
