Thanks for verifying that it was the AFN. Can you either post a channel dump file or a list of frequencies so I can compare it with a genuine MMDS set up in your area. Many thanks.
ScouSer, I'm new to this so all I've done is programmed the Starview. Is there an easy way to get the channel dump file? The other thing that will affect the dump is that I haven't properly mounted the Ariel yet so I mightn't be picking up all available channels.
When you have the ariel up and then do a rescan and see what channels you get as there is no channel dump available at the moment for that set up that is why scouser was saying for you to do one when your box is sorted out ok
Fergusb & Sc0user, I checked the channels again & they match the list provided by LastCuban below. I have a Channel Data File that I uploaded from the box if it's any good to you. If so let me know what you want me to do with it.

Sc0user, Picture quality is excellent. The only drawback to the AFN aerial is its size. It's much bigger than the standard Irish MMDS one. I did a signal test & I'm getting 85-95% on both bars but then I'm not far from the mast. I was considering cutting 20 or 30 mm off each side of the aerial to reduce its size. Do you think it would still work??
Great news on the quality. I wouldnt worry about the size issue and do not cut it as it will affect your quality.
Sc0user, You seem to be in the know about everything on this forum. Do you think there is any truth in the rumors that N*L will be rolling out Nagra2 any time soon? Reason I ask is I was going to invest in a Starview PVR but if these boxes are going to be rendered obsolete soon then theres no point. Cheers
Hi Guys, My friend just moved house he was in a ntl cable area in galway with replay lite 7.52 firmware everything working perfect he now is in a mmds area of galway now so he set it up done a full scan and has about 40 channels he has sky sports but no sky sports 2 or 3 but has all the sky movies but no film four and so on is there anything ye could suggest to do i.e new firmware get a channel dump file? Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

hey guys the ntl mmds channel list seems to have updated. i can only get setanta 1 on a manual scan and i'm picking up new channel virgin 1, and on manual scan for setanta at 274000 i picked up two non-functioning channels martin & martin 1. does anyone have a fully updated channel list for the new mmds list? (ntl, north dublin)? thanks.
scOuser I need your help. I have a Dreambox 500T and a Chorus antenna. I need a power supply but am unable to find out what make or model and where to source same. Would appreciate your help.
