    Hi there,

I am having some problems trying to compile a dvd that i can play using stand alone DVD player (not in pc). I hav captured the movie from my sony micro mv and would like to know wat steps to take to compile a dvd that will work on normal DVD players?
I am using Movieshaker to capture from cam. to HD. Then i've converted the .mmv to mpeg2, and then burnt it using both nero 5.10 and discjuggler....without any luck.....HELP!!!!

You need to "transcode" your .mpg files to DVD format. The transcoder software usually comes with your burner, Sonic myDVD for example, also Pinnacle Expression, and others. I use NeroVision (comes with Nero Burning Rom) but you have to buy the plug in for $20 at nero.com. You just point it to the mpg file and it transcodes (takes a lot of time and doubles the size of your mpg).
