nanshuan ...very likely your usb cable will work...look above in this forum where I posted where to get the moto usb drivers...use that as an update for your cable driver and it should go!!

Does anyone know if you can access sms messages through your computer. I am trying to print some messages that are saved on my phone. My stalker ex send threatening text messages and the police want me to print them off.

I downloaded and installed phone tool and I can connect to the phone and see my contact, but I cannot access sms or see the ones sent.

    Does anyone have any thoughts?

    Thanks

This thread is curing my insomnia:). Did I make a big mistake in getting the Moto V220? I have the USB cable and want to find free MPT and related software in order to transfer Outlook contacts, pictures, ringtones, etc.
Most of the sites mentioned are not available. Once more, can anyone lead me to working sites. Or, should I just bite the bullet and order MPT from the Motorola.com site? Thanks.

I have an E815, and I'm wondering if I can transfer any files from phone to cpu and vice versa with a version of MPT. I have a usb and have tried MPT 3.11h and 3.23 but the mulitmedia studio doesnt seem to offer any type of file transfer back and forth? Am I going to have to edit seems or is there another version of MPT that will allow my E815 to transfer files? Thanks for any help!

I've read through the posts on this board and, while I've seen some other people with comm port errors, I haven't seen this particular one, so I'm hoping someone can help me. I've got MPT 3.25b, connecting via a Bluetooth USB adapter. I've got a Razr v3, and so does my partner. We've been able to get one phone hooked up fine, but when we try to add the other, we always get a comm port initialization error. I've uninstalled, and tried switching the order of the phones, and same thing: one will install fine, the second one, comm port error. Any ideas?

A page back someone asked a question about getting a error while trying to initiate MPT. It is " Missing the V3 GUC driver". No one answered his question, in fact he was down right ignored. I'm assuming, no one knew the answer to his question. Well, I have the same problem and I'm hoping someone will give me some help. It happens right after i choose the method of connection. As soon as I choose and the upload box is finished, the error appears and if you click ok on the error everything related to MPT disappears. thanks, Rick Windows XP sp2 MPT 3.23

Everytime I load MPT 3.23 it takes almost forever to initialize/boot up. I dont even get the splash screen for a very long time. Anyone else have this problem?
