Ok, I just wanted some confirmation on this. If I have a modded gamecube (xenogc) it will be able to play burnt games right? The iso image is 1.35GB and it is burnt on a full size dvd-r (sony brand).

ok, that's a relief. I thought I just bought a chip for nothing.
I already have the modded case installed for allowing full sized
dvd-r's. It is a clear case, so I now call my cube the icecube.
Now I just need to change the orange power LED to a blue LED.

You can't make backups of gamecube games just by putting in the game in your computer's optical drive right?
I think you need to like stream the game to your computer with the broadband adapter or something like that.

Nice I always wanted the Icedcube but got a wii and modified that instead so no need i guess, your right burning GC games cannot be done via optical drive
Follow this guide its the same for both wii and GC

as for streaming the GC games back to the comp you might want to look here ---> http://modthatcube.pxn-os.com/
I know the Qoob and the newest Viper chips support that but never used either of them

and for the emulators and homebrew software go here ---> http://gcemu.dcemu.co.uk/

that should keep you busy for awhile =)

Whoa, I checked out the link for the special cases that allow you to use full size dvd's and saw that they were like $55

    I got mine from modchipman.com for $15 + S/H which was like $8
It was the top and bottom half and it was a clear case.
I installed it and it seems ok.
    luckgh0st recommended it to me.
