I bought a hard modded xbox with Avalaunch Dashboard, smartxx chip and a 160gb Hard Drive. I wanted Xbox Media Center as my dashboard. So what I did was I followed this thread on to make it my dashboard. Here is the link to the thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/376141 Anyways what happened was my xbox froze at the logo and I wasn't able to ftp files to fix it.[/b] I went to the boot menu and tried to restore the problem. I Should have researched before doing whatever it was I did, because now it does load up past the logo, but to the original xbox dash. I have the Smartxx Mod chip installed so it's hard modded. I can still see my files on the original xbox dash, Ex. Xbox Media Center. But only have the choice of deleting my files. In Conclusion I want Avalaunch back as my dash, Or it could be a different Dash. This way I can play my games and run Xbox Media Center once again. Need your help Please Chris)
try the slayers disc to rebuild only the c drive with a dash of choice. any other xbox boot disc will also work fine, but i use slayers
