Did you edit the evox.ini file correctly because if you messed up in any way there then you'll fusk up finding your msdash. Make sure you edit the area under [Misc] that says, MSDashboard = "c:\msdashboard.xbe" and make sure you have your msdash in the root of the c: partition named msdashboard.xbe and have your evox dash in the same partiton named xboxdash.xbe and the evox.ini file that you edited.

it was a little more complicated than that. i have a feeling that when my sister-in-law tried to log into xbox live with the mod chip turned on.. MS might have put some file on the C somewhere that xboxdash.xbe looks for and if it finds it stops working.. this is a guess cause i didn't dig that deep but all i know is my shit was working perfectly before and i didn't screw it up on my own.

i have the EXACT same problem and i fixed it... here is what i did:

make sure u remember how to make a evox bootable cd/dvd. Then log into your box with ftp program backup your xboxdash.xbe fileand replace the xboxdash.xbe file with the original (that u hopefully backed up when u 1st modded). Then you can reboot and get into msdash and play music, edit your saved game files (thats y i wanted back in for removing fever 2k4 data) then after u achieve what u want, reload evox with the dvd/cd and then ftp back in and replace your xboxdash file with a new one, or the original that you backed up before you placed the unmodded xboxdash.xbe file. I am now back in business, i hope this helps u guys out (atleast a little)
