Modded Xbox

    This prolly isn't in the right area and it's prolly been asked millions of times, but can some one PLEASE answer this one quetion for me. if i buy a modded xbox from this website : http://www.upgrade123.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=76
    would i be able to put games onto the hardrive or would a special modchip have to be put in? please help me, thanx

    It really depends on the bios that you would flash to the chip.
    most modchips are capable of copying games to the
    hardrive, you just have to find good bios, those
    are what let do the goods.

    A bios is a boot sequence your xbox goes through. You can find these in "the usual places" (xbins, etc). I recommend getting a good bios (like evox M8) and then installing a good dashboard (like evox 3935) and then using a program such as dvd2xbox to back up your games to the hard drive. The three of these work wonders together. They are hands-down the best.

    why would you do that, you don't even know what modchip you are getting if any.
