   I'm looking for a mode chip and i'm wondering what would be better to use? Would a solder mode chip or a clip on mode chip?

   First of all its MOD CHIP not MODE CHIP
   
   second, if you can solder get a solder chip, there cheaper, and theres no chance of them coming loose
