monitor issues need help fast.

    im building my computer as we speak i got everything set up and i went to plug it into the wall i powered it up.

    everything came on the fans started running but when i plug in the monitor cable the monitor doesnt display anything..

    when i plug in the cable the monitor goes off and when i take the cable out the monitor displays the no signal screen


    any suggestions?

    Have you correctly inserted the RAM? Have you connected the 4-pin square power connector to the motherboard as well as the 24-pin ATX?
    Have you connected the 6-pin PCIe power connector to the graphics card? (If applicable)

    Also try resetting the CMOS.

    i have the same problem dont know how to reset the cmos
