I have a Dell E193FP (19") monitor and a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS video card. Currently, my resolution is set at 1024 X 768, but this results is a slightly blurrly screen. I think that the ideal resolution, correct me if i'm wrong, is 1280X1024, which is the highest resolution setting available in the options. When I set the monitor to 1280X1024, about 1/5th of the screen on the right side is "off" of the monitor, or unseen. How can I correct this problem?

    Update your drivers first.

Have you tried adjusting the monitor's horizontal and vertical settings to center the screen?

I have tried using the horiz./vert. adjustments through the buttons that are physcially on the monitor itself. I also tried the adjustments through NVIDIA's software on the computer.

Try the auto adjust on the Dell monitor.

I went to the monitors menu from the buttons on the monitor itself and selected factory reset and voila!
    thanks for the suggestions.
