motherboard HELP!

    I have an old 98 Compaq Presario 5020 and i was wondering if anyone could help me find out what kind of motherboard comes with it.

    Probably one of Compaq's own. What are you planning on doing with it?

    What are you going to do with a 10 year old computer? I don't even think you can buy parts for it.

    dam thats an oldy, open it up, some where you'll see a a sticker on the motherboard, or it might be etched in board/side of the case

    now i believe most of them were shipped out with a AMD Duron
    microATX motherboard
    if you mother board is perfectly square (9.6" by 9.6 was the measurement, or it could have been 10 by 10) then thats what you have
    =====================================
    if its more like a rectangle (8 by 11 or 8 by 12) then its the less common AMD mini-ATX

    proof that these old data base books in my room do come in handy!!
