Hey I've searched all your threads for the answer to my question and can't seem to find it. I am running WinXP and have a Moto v180. I have Mobile Phone Tools installed and it recognizes my phone. But when I go to multimedia option it doesn't recognize the phone side of the menu. Only the PC side. I was told it was an OBEX problem and called moto, they told me to reflash my phone. Can anyone give me some more options? Thanks

    hi all,
i need some help with my motorola v220 cause i cant get it to work properly with my pc. am running on win98 s.e and for the past 3 months ive been looking for the drivers of the phone. ive downloaded MPT 1.23 and also the latest version of the software. but the main prob right now is to find the proper drivers for the phone. ive been able to get the driver for my pc to recognise my phone as a composite usb device but it doesnt recognise my phone as a modem device. cant you either send me the right driver or give me the url of where is might get it pls.
    thx in advance

Hello, I recently got a V220 for cingular wireless. I have installed MPT and have managed to put pics and ringtones on my phone, however, I would like to be able to send MMS via the program. When I try to send them a config wizard comes up and asks for all these ISP adresses and stuff, I have looked and found some of the addresses on the net, but when I go to send the message, it makes a connection, but wont send the message. Any thoughts???

hey mossy thanks for the reply. I actually went ahead and re-installed mpt 1.12 and the upgrade of 2. and then did the live update up till the update before 3.19. This enabled me to sychronize my outlook and transfer pics. and ringtones. Hopefully everyone else will get their problems solved. Thanks for all who posted on this thread. It ended up helping me a lot.

Am I correct in my understanding that MPT doesn't work with win98se?

I saw a post earlier in thread referring to wanting to download pictures from phone to PC rather than putting pictures into the phone.
I am interested in doing that -- (from phone to PC) and wonder if it is possible or am I hoplessly out of sync here. I don't want to go thru the hassle and or expense of dealing with the software which sound "User hateful", anyway - Thanks

Can I take pix from my phone and put them on my pc by using the P2Kman only? I can't seem to get the correct drivers for my win98se to make MPT work. Thanks in advance!
