This is simply untrue,
The reason the clone boxes are failing is because the firmware is deleting the bootloader, hence this is why they can be jtaged back to life,
if it was a overclocked processor then the CPU would fail permanently,

How the firmware recognises the clones is still a mystery.

Hi everyone!

After trawling through previous pages and trying to manually enter the keys on page 1 of this thread I have had no luck in bringing back Sports 1&2, a few of the movies and music channels.

I was provided with codes a couple of weeks ago (which i have now lost!!) entered them and everything came back, however I noticed yesterday that the above channels have now become scrambled! ARE THERE NEW CODES? Or are people still trying to find them out?

My box is Starview ver. 2.57, I have T***wes*/V***in M***a, live in the Southwest(Plymouth) and I don't understand 'flashing' or have the equipment to do so!

Apologies if this info is elsewhere, but could someone please help me out?

There seems to be a small glitch in the uk region with some channels try a rescan also make sure you have entered all the codes from page 1 for all providers and saving line by line and no the codes have not changed at the moment

looking very much so all the boxes in ireland will not autoroll after the last code change so we will just have to wait and see if some bright spark come's up with a fix or it will be back to sly again and pay more money

Read 2 reports of subbed ntl pace boxes losing all but the FTA channels over the weekend. So maybe this autoroll problem is just a glitch with N*L signal and we will be ok....

 

i lost ALL channels lastnight. i was on 257, flashed 259 & its fine now, cant understand it

I hope you are right and we are all getting ahead of ourselves, what with all this worry, I can't find time to watch telly anyway!!!!!!!!

 

Morning all. Any one know where this all started about the non auto rolling from now on. Do they have the software to stop other boxes and updated ones auto rolling?? I wonder...is this scare mongering?? We will have to wait and see. Scouser should be able to answer this as he works for a certain company and has this knowledge...interesting times ahead.............

all my channels went of so all i done was reflashed *view with
300eE api then done a factory reset then rescanned box and set EMU to on and hey prestoe all is fine plus got the extra hd1 and 2 and they are both workin

any 1 needs the gtrom loader or any of the api files pm me ill sort u out

is anyone elses starview saying scrambled or bad channel and staying like that for a minute.

All is OK in uk T******t. northwest no problems here. Hope you get sorted, I am on Genuine box v4 firmware, find it much more stable than v3, right pain that was.
