Yea there completely different but if you have one PACE box with all the channels and you have one with the basic package whats to stop you from taking the NAGRA code from the box woth all the channels and entering it into the box with the basic channels!

Is this your private opinion or are you getting this info from a source? Is it possible thats N*L are just running tests and everyone is getting jittery??? Wouls scouser know anything??

 

Lets remember that half of the channels arnt even encrypted!!!! so if it ever goes down, you will just have a reduced choice but still quite a few channels to choose from while its been fixed, and if they do stop the auto roll, we can just get nagravison codes from a legitimate box anyway

Glen i just read that in one of your posts a page back saying power on with the down button held down to get into engineers menus and get the code from there, you suggested not to change it :/

I followed the instructions for my channels being out of sync - did a factory reset and a channel scan - which brought up the same amount of channels as before, only they're all scrambled now. Anybody know a way out of this? Dublin.

make sure emu is on and you have the right nagravision codes

 

Supasaint , make sure the EMU key is turned on

The Nagra codes on the Pace box are not compatible with that of a SV therefore taking the codes from an Pace box is no use.

Where it should work is if you own a Pace Box with the basic Package and you have a friend who also owns a Pace box with all the pay extra channels. I can see no reason why you wouldn't be able to take his Nagra code and put it into your Pace box.

The reason why I am not suggesting you mess around with the Nagra code on your Pace box is because if your not careful you could end up with no channels and a severe pain in the ass.

Info on Pace boxes and the N*L Service "N*L works on a one way system unlike S*y it rarely takes information from you i.e what you watch most yada yada. It generally just sends information like say you have the Sports Package and you ring and cancel it, they send the information to your pace box to say that you've cancelled the Sports Package. In turn your Pace box changes the Nagrvision code to one that no longer contains the Sports Package!

Oh well, after nearly 2 weeks of having a dead clone box, I finally got off shift, bought the bits to make the jtag cable.

Now I'm the proud owner of a "zombie" starview.

Let's see how long it lasts before I'm forced to buy something else because of Nthell messing about.
