As i was about to downgrade my firmware i deceided to double check my box was a clone. I went on the Drewish website to compare and now have confused myself more.

Heres the dilemma i have:
*I bought the box on Ebay from a seller people have since said sells clones
*The back of the box is the same as the "copy" or "orginal"
*My remote control matches the "copy" remote
But
*All the pictures of inside the original box match mine, ie same motherboard, chip made by samsung and writing matches that below it.

Again fellas i ask, what would you do in my position? Cheers

 

if downgrading from 3.00 to 2.57 will it still auto update all the codes or will they have to be put in manually???

 

amandac, if you got your N*L card done it only means you got the free subscription, that subscription could be 3 months, 6 months or 12 months and then it will stop and N*L will know that it has been done if they ever take your box!!!!! You've been warned

 

Unfortunately, you will have to enter the keys manually when they change, but it only takes a minute or 2, plus the time to find them.

The keys are kept up to date on page 1 of this thread, where there are also a few other relevant bits of info.

 

Is anybody watching and recording to their PC via the the Starview (not PVR). If so how do I set it up

 

you will need a capture card for video, sound card for audio. connect capture card to starview via s-video for good quality, or composite video for ok quality.
connect sound card to starview via fibre optic (if your sound card supports it) for the best quality, or standard line output for good quality. you will need some recording software.

 

hi can anyone tell me have many stations i should get with CH***S with my sv in newbridge kildare

 

people are saying there getting 60 - 65 stations on ch***s in kildare hope this helps

yeah some people said that i know a couple of guys who are in kildare and the most they have is 63 stations,

 

have we gone down again in ireland???? 2 boxes "updating"
