I agree with that but some people are just to lazy to input the codes and will try anything so they wont have to do it for some reason it only takes 4/5min to enter them and no risk involved with there boxes

martinme... The reason i flashed to 300 was to stop the need to keep manually inputing the codes on what was becoming a daily routine. I havent needed to do anything manually since flashing last week.

if you are referring to my post ferg it does take minutes and would save you some time by the time some one has typed a message or 5 thier could have inputted the keys in and left you alone to help more people in need

Can anyone tell me what is the proper firmware for the Waterford area in Ireland. Can I use v2.55e or v2.57e or v3.00e???

Also ...are the key data codes on page 1 still the same for Ireland??

    Thanks in advance,

    paz.

What more can i say if people would just wait for a while the code entering will subside it is just a waiting game but people wont wait the panic over entering a few numbers what would they do if there was no file that autorolled the numbers they would have to do with it or pay the full price to whatever provider they are with we are all after all getting something for nothing dont you think

Ferg are you in a chorus area yourself? i have been in contact with a few lads in cork, kildare and galway who have managed to get the starview working on chorus by using v258 and manually scanning the frequencies have you tried this yourself?

    Fergus, cable provider is n**

Brought sv box from Belfast to Waterford a month or so ago. Worked fine until all these recent changes.

Had it flashed with v2.57e and UK codes. It picked up Irish channels when I re-installed it down in Waterford.

So if I re-flash it with the v2.57e version and the Irish codes, do you reckon it will be fine?
