have set up over 30 of these for mates and family... this is the only one giving me any jip at all!!!! tried all that already and even tried connecting with different tv and cables....

any other suggestions apart from using it as a proppelled tool to break a window lol

have factory reset it four times and re flashed software various versions.... no channels at all

trying to describe it... you know when you are using anuy program on a computer and the option you are looking at in the file menu is not available it is usually light grey so you cant click it... thats what the TV and Radio part on the channel scan look like and no channels appear!!!!

i heard it happen before and the nagravison thing worked

 

try another box, to make sure your getting a signal, there may be teccys in your area repairing cables. my net went off lastnight for a few hours

Try searching under the different providers C&W and Telepest.

See if that works.

I get different channels appear on the differnt providers.

cat - I know you said you tried lots of different versions - but when did you download them? If they are newly downloaded, they might just have changed the names, i.e. it might say its 257 but actually be a v4.00.

I have old and orignal 257 and 260 if you need!


Is the flashing process working as normal - i.e. up to 100% and about 20 seconds later pop-up saying it was done?

sounds like your using the wrong aerial input, double check that.

just plugged in a new box fresh out of package... worked perfect

dont know what the story is and im in ireland... have the new codes already of three other boxes in the gaff working perfect aswel!!

 

anybody else having trouble in dublin? my sv box is alright one minute then its scrambling shaking the channels and even went of for 5 mins saying scrambled/bad channel any ideas or anyone else experiencing this?

 

changed aerial input to other slot failed on everything..... the thing is that it says "ok" on the frequencies that other boxes have found channels but just not this one!!!

 

ya had that.... try the remedy for no sound... that worked on mine...

go to dodgy channel and press menu installation manual scan and ok
