Ok lads now i need the favor returned can someone out there get the codes for C***** for me would be appreciated thanks as i will be going away and the little lad wants to watch the movies and i will not be here to put the codes in when they go again

 

hi i hope you can help me with this query, i have had a look through the forums but the topic doesnt seem to be covereed, my sister got an reprogramed ntl card from someone in ntl but her box seems to have broken(wont come out of standby)dont think it has anything to do with the card but she tried her card in my(legal) ntl box and some of the stations are coming through but the "you have not subscribed to this channel " is coming in over the picture, do you know if the card neeeds to be re-paired with a new box or is there some codes she needs to enter or something, any help would be appreciated, we are in dublin btw/

 

Ferg i wuld if i was over there, id also throw a coax cable acros the water back here so i can reconnect it upto the network so we can have sky one back

 

are you on version 4.00 anyway ferg?

 

There is not we can do here about the gunuine box from N** but by what you are saying looks like your card needs to be reprogrammed you cannot get codes from here for that box sorry

 

I am to no avail still updating at present will leave for a while and see how long does it normally take

unless you know an N** engineer to reprogram it you are out of luck it could also be a problem with the N** could be down so i would wait and see before you do anything

its definately not the ntl down as we have the legal box and thats fine, i just thought that if a card was reprogrammed it should technically be unlocked, and work in any ntl box, is that incorrect?

 

is there anybody out there that has a spare remote for the sv bixes.... could do with one for a mate his broke!!!!

 

i think the card is programmed to the box i could be wrong try your sisters box with the card on your cable and see does that solve the problem
