    Hey mike/cat,

I said id update you all on whether that fix for the out of sync & soundless channels worked..............

With that bit of suspense over with it, Im happy to say it did. Everyhthing working perfect now. One caveat on it though is when I tried to use my channel data file to sort my channels it messed them up again. So my advice is dont bother - resort them manually.

Ill just say what I did in case anyone comes across this post and would like to know the solution.

If you're channel(s) video and audio are out of sync, all you have to do is the following:

Go to Menu -> Factory setting -> enter your password -> press ok at the prompt.

Then the installation menu will appear -> select your language -> and do an automatic scan.

Once the scan has been completed, exit back to menu -> press the info button -> and enter the numbers 1 5 7 0 -> the nagrivision menu appears -> go to the last entry on this menu "Key Emu" and change it from off to on.

If you have a firmware version that doesnt auto-update the keys (e.g. 2.57 version) then go to page 1 of this forum and get the latest code for your area. When you exit back to your normal TV screen, you should have all the channels!

Thought it was about time I gave a little something back to the starview community!

Iv'e got a TV card in a PCI slot on my PC. I've managed to get a picture on it from the Starview but couldn't finnish the installation because I don't have a microsft type media centre remote that can change the channel on the Starview. I'm going to get one because I don't wan't to have to keep getting up to change channels but is there a work around so I can finnish the installation while I'm waiting.
