marlynn's problem might be this, i put v257 and v400 on a box for a guy in kildare and he couldnt get the station all he was getting was a blank screen even with the codes entered manually, so i put v258 on for him and he now has 65 stations on ch***s so maybe if she tries this it will get her sorted

 

i posted a link for drivers for the usb cable.i think you need them to get the cable to work.and autoroll is when n** change there keys the box gets the new ones on its own,so no need to go looking for them

thanks for that mike. have had the v257 and v400 and neither worked for me.am going to try v258 l8r and see if i have any success. villadub is experiencing the same problems as myself and has tried all these versions, so i don't know, maybe between us we can get this thing up and working.

does anyone know if fergus is in a digital area? and i think he works off v257, is that right?

As it looks above you have used this in an N** area and moved the box. If this is true maybe your providere ID of 5401 for N** has not been changed to C***** provider id. Sounds simple like most problems.

If not mikedub has another solution.

 

ferg was running v400 and i think he had in and around 60 stations, but the autoroll didnt work for him yesterday

hi scouser. well, have even done a factory reset. and put in ch**us id and codes again. even tried all freq individually, but nothing worked.there's just no signal and no programs found. as you say i'm sure there must be a very simple solution to this problem, we just have'nt found it yet. at this stage im becoming an expert on the workings of these boxes and i haven't even got my one working yet!! nearly ready to throw the towel in!!
