if its a genuine box then you've got nothing to worry about, all software will work fine on it

ok. have star***w not a clone. all ok 4 last 2 wks. code changes worked. since mons changes can only get the 4 or 5 that are tuned. Hav tryed everything. reboots, emu off and on, factory resets and retunes. No joy! ????

go to menu down to system information and it will say 2.57 or something like that

 

Have you taken a look at anto's quote as he may have a point. Sorry FW is firmware you ca n find this info by pressing menu and then system info on the remote.
