    Hi Px,

    Yeah thanks, I got it sorted. I was trying to flash it with a laptop, it was taking half an hour and still failing.

    I hooked it up to a desktop and flash two boxes in about 5 minutes.

    One is genuine now running 4.00 and I have a clone running the 257 fixed, everything looks good so far.

    no,go to manual scan change the symbol rate to 6875 then put the frequency to 250.000 and change network scan to enable

    A neighbour of mine knocked into me and asked me to set up a SV . I noticed immedially it was a clone and set it up for him anyway. It has ver. 2.58e_E and his son bought it on Eb*y. It found 176 channels and seems to be working for now !
