was the box working earlier on?
have you definetly got a signal on it (try plugging the lead directly into the tv)
what is coming up on the screen when you exit out of the menu?

try giving us more information on what is happening?

 

what does it say on a pay channel.scrambled or bad channel,no signal or data is being updated

 

it was workin fine til about 5pm.the lead is fine,still have tv when its plugged directly in to the tv.when i exit,i have rte 2 and tv3 but any other channel is comin up as "scrambled or bad channel"

 

Well said MAINAMN, I really don't know why at the moment people are manually inputting keys, when there are versions of firmware out there on drews site that are and have today autorolled. Fixed v257 for clone boxes and v400 for genuine boxes.

well then it sounds like its not the codes that are the problem, turn the box off at the back for a few seconds and then switch it back on, one of my mates had this problem earlier on and this sorted it try this and get back to us ok

my mate rang me earlier on he was having the same problem, i talked him through everything and it was still coming up scrambled or bad channel so i got him to switch it off for a few seconds and when he put it back on it was working, the only other thing i can suggest to him is a factory reset and start over again what you think ryan?

 

i am doing that at the moment and it keeps saying failed, no programs found, something wrong with it?

 

yeah.but he is probably better off with an update to v4 or 2.57
