to put in manual frequency go to installation,manual scan and put in the frequency there.then go to your channel list it will be at the bottom of your list.

 

nope all it found was movie channels

 

thats the only frequency i have for the uk sorry.try going to manual scan and enable network scan hopefully that will pick it up.

Can anyone please advise on how I go about using the SVCE_1030.exe Channel Editor program with regards my Star View box?

I've just flashed the box with v4.00 firmware and wanted to save all my configured channels using the SVCE_1030.exe program, but cannot see how I should go about doing this??

Do I need to have the box connected to my cable provider's inlet and the box connected my TV or can it be done maually/remotely from the V*RG*N cable supply and TV connection set-up??

The reason I ask is that my kids live next door with their Mum and the box is in their house, while the PC is in my own house.

If a cable supply/TV connection set-up is required, can I do this using the broadband connection in my own home, which is set up for me to surf the Net, by using a splitter?! Will I be able to access V*RG*N TV and channels with my broadband only connection?

 

If people can't be bothered to have a proper look around why not charge them. I've got parts for my car or bike that I know I could have got cheaper if I looked around but I couldn't be bothered. People must know if you can buy software on the net it will be available for free somewhere. I really don't have a problem with these guys on fleebay. I just think they have a brass neck coming on here.

morning ryan if you're around, sorry my internet went down last night (as well as my oven) I think machines are angry at me...

Ive checked the aerial and its fine and ive entered in the most recent codes for dublin n*l but im still getting Scrambled or Bad Channel for pretty much every channel except Rte 2 and Tv3.

I just have the basic analogue aeriel coming in - is it best to put this into the Aerial In port or the Cable in?

When its in the Aerial i get No Signal - and in the Cable port i get Scrambled or Bad channel

Any help would be much appreciated!

 

crow118. The input should be in the 'Cable Input' socket.
Have you checked to see if emu is on. Press menu, then 1570, at the bottom of the list is Key EMU, make sure it is on. Then exit back out to normal tv, select a channel that has $ on it, and see if the bad scrambled message disappears, and the channel comes in. May take a few seconds for the channel to come through.

menu > parental control> press ok >press info[remote] 2004 check emu is switched to on then exit exit exit ,if u have signal it should auto update .
