have you got any channels atall if not you do not need to know the freq press menu select installation select your provider t/w c/w n*l select automatic scan once channels are found press exit and return to main menu when in main menu press 1570 a secret cas menu on thier go to emu and select on then go to a pay channel and wait to update hope this helps

 

ok will try, but my auto scan picks up nothing for some reason! i am getting sick of this now, too many problems with it!!!

gosh i don't know whats wrong i've done factory resets, auto scans and manual scans lots of times and i,ve always got my 140 channels back each time are you sure your EMU key is on sorry i can't help any more

 

yeah me to nearly everyone i know has a starview and i have flashed there boxs no prob,installed there boxs no prob.

I know how this guy feels, when I got my sta**iew, I found it hard to get the hang of it, as all of u in Ireland know our friends in n*l are rolling the codes twice a week, can anyone direct me to the idiots guide to flashing v4 to my box..and I mean idiots guide. I'm running 2.57 at the moment seems fine except the code changes, I 99% sure my box is legit, right number of vents grooves etc. I have downloaded gtrom all ready,

no box is not faulty its was a clone one and i flashed it with 3.oo software and it killed it ,so i need someone that knows their stuff to jtag it again

 

also lads looking for the cable to connect s.v. box to laptop so i can update it with new software are they such a thing , if so can anybody tell me were to get one and what i should be paying

Thanks. Got no channels. I have got zero signal and aero quality is this normal. THe PVR version does not have option for t/w c/w etc. BTW I did run an automatic scan starting at 54000 and it ran for over 2 hours and found nothing. Stupid Q: but I connected this straight out of the box. Do I need to install/update firmaware - how do I check what firmware is on it? P.S Bought from wizard satellite.
