Yes it will as you do have a null modem cable as you said you have used it for a box to box config.

    Sound Problems

To get back sound just select the channel in question press menu,
select installation, select manual scan, click ok on down frequency.
It'll now scan for channels when its finished exit back to normal
tv viewing screen go to the end of your channel listing and the desired channel will be there with sound.
This can be done on any channel with no sound by just selecting that channel following the instructions above.
    Hope this helps

1st press the AUDIO button on the remote to check if there is another audio stream available and select that if there is. Sometimes the Audio PID changes and the sound is lost, you can tell if when you press the AUDIO button on the remote there is no L and R visible on the audio bar that pops up. Then you should make a note of the frequency of the affected channel and enter the menu/channel edit section and delete it. Then exit back to menu and enter the installation section and manually scan on that frequency. The channel will reappear at the end of your list with the sound back on. If the channel has gone completely the frequency may have changed so you will have to auto scan on all providers with the appropriate symbol rate in order to regain the channel.
