I'm in the UK and I've got the old2.57 in the box and it's been there for well over a month

 

yes same here stick to it for a while if its not broke do not try to fix

Whats the total number of available channels on N*L Dublin? I am picking up 140 but
a friend up the road only gets about 130.

140 is average , tell them to do a manual scan and it might pick up channels they are missing

 

if there cable is split they will not pick up all the channels
eg
brav0 +1
liv1ng tv +1
r@ceing uk etc
