Ferg- i am using 2.57 to be safe although i have flashed 3.00e twice but bottled it twice and gone back.not having any problems just wondered why one 3.00e flash worked great the other problems.my box is definitely a clone.i figure unless i get to a stage where i have to flash a new file and leave it then if it aint broke dont fix it!

 

hi just thoughht i'd let you all know how i got on with nulastore on ebay as i was asking for anybody's experience of them the other day

well my box was 63.99 i was told before purchasing that it was definitly a genuine box and not a clonethrough ebay ask a question recieved the strvw today its exactly the same as my supposed gen original box but the remote is the clone version very cheap and nasty there website is edited by ddp trading on ebay as edited by ddp the sales manager's name is edited by ddp and his phone number is edited by ddp i called him and he admitted straight away they are clone boxes but he reckons not the cheap crap versions that are breakin he was very helpfull and even offered me a full refund straight away but we'll see how it gets on first it came with ver3 and the download available from there site is version 3 so at least they wont be able to say its my fault cos i put v3 on there so fingers crossed will keep you all posted rich.

 

is it really worth upgrading at the moment for the sake of putting in codes a couple times a week

Some people have some haven't it is really up to the individuals themselves how long does it take to input the code manually 3 to 4 Min thats all

 

Oh one slight fault with v3 on my clone the epg does not work sometimes
not that it really matters.

yes i got it from here and i am well pleased with it.

 

Could be a fault with the box though as it never worked right.

 

if the channel is just black
i.e. nothing whatsoever comes up on it,whats the story with that?
have it with a few of my channels ,not bothered by most but want 1 or 2 of them esp. ppv football and movie channel.

 

what are the channel names?

 

ppv football
sky premier +
playboy
theyre the important ones

 

Some times if the channel does not start till a specific time that is what you will see

 

yes that might be true in playboys case only just flicking through them now to see whats on and off
but in the case of ppv footy and prem + its always been black since i forst got the box

 

im not sure on the ppv football, never heard of it! if you mean premplus thats been closed down. all the sky movie channels start with "sm" so they look like this - "smaction, "smdrama" etc... ignore the ones that say skymovies - they dont work. as for playboy, you only get previews until 11 or 12
