    Nah Tried that too. Any other suggestions? The box is in standby and the lead is connected to the correct ports. It's baffling me as I'm a comp. programmer and all the software seems ok. Is there any way to test that the connection from comp. to box exists?At least I could then eliminate that as the problem.

    Scouser First of all thanks for the help!

    Secondly both the house beside me have Mesh Satellites but I don't I just have a cable in socket on the wall and a couple of other ones throughout the house!
