Yah, I'm not sure. It was connected by a company called clearview or clearvu. The stations are funny cause u get BBC London but Border ITV. Might bring and try anyway

 

scouser i was changing up to e400 from my laptop all on n*l,done a few boxes that way ok,did not change channel data on any of them, i got a phone call and was told it was on autoupdate loop went into nagravision and the provider id was not on 54 01 [ very strange ]
changed id and codes now a ok. any thoughts??

I have been viewing this site for weeks and wondering why you all seem to go to bed around 7pm. I have only noticed when I put up the post that the times are wrong and out by a few hours

 

Happens sometimes when the CC is doing work on the network. If it happens again just press set default key in cas menu and it will bring back the provider id. Damn CC bothering you when your doing your upgrades

I have found the site a great help particularly when I had to manually enter the codes for few weeks while I built up the courage to flash, so thanks a lot.

Thanks to the pics I figured it was genuine and I flashed to version 3. The screen goes blue for 20 /30 seconds quite a lot but I reckon I will follow the site advice and flash v4.

 

Seen that too but might be scuppered as ch**** are running a trial for DTT conax.

 

where can I get reliable v4 file?

Great thanks, I will get it now and flash tomorrow. I am on my third attempt at installing a new printer and ready to throw the printer and the laptop out the window. Don't want to risk the starview going out too as it is lashing rain.

Can anyone give me the procudure for doing a manual scan, very lazy and always let the box do the scan for me... and how do I choose the freq that I want as in the advice above????

But for my next trick, i want to upgrade my starview to v4... but i'm not sure if my box is a clone or not... can anyone tell me how to see if my box is a clone ??
