hi can anyone tell me why my sv did not roll ,downdloaded 257 onto clone box now with the key changed checked sv and it did not auto update

 

First one I heard of check if your emu is on

i'm new is there a beginners guide somewhere. I have a starview box in dublin with N*L with sofware API ver 2.55e_E Boot ver: 7. Do I need to update? How can I do that so if needs be? And will it sort out the sound problem I have to keep fixing with manual scan

 

Is there a problem with the new 2.57 Ryan? I also have an N** pace box at home with a basic package, as well as the SV . That was pixilating all over the place on certain channels. I went into the engineers screen and seen the autolooping frequencies where all over the place. So I can tell you N** where having there own problems also. Might still be occurring in localised areas.

 

you don't have to update but you would be better off.and the manual scan you shouldn't have to keep manual scanning channels the sound only went once on some channels on my box.

thanks ryan, i've just downloaded the software needed.... im using apple, is there a way i can connect rs232 to USB and do the upgrade ??
